Chengan County Intelligent Computing Center
Built on mobile compute cabins, planned at 1000P with 200P in the first phase, supporting Hebei’s first county-level OPC computing voucher.
Chengan County, Hebei, China
Background
How a county quickly built its own computing capacity
Chengan has abundant power and urgent demand for industrial digitalization, but large traditional data centers are slow and capital-intensive. Distributed cabins quickly created local capacity and explored a county model of affordable power plus compute enablement.
Challenges
Four constraints at project kickoff
County budgets and industry funds need a controllable investment pace rather than a single heavy outlay.
The county lacks talent for large data center construction and operations.
Industrial digitalization needs low-latency compute that keeps data in the county.
The project needed to close the loop with local vouchers and OPC platforms.
Solution
Mobile cabins for capacity, a platform for demand
Mobile cabins, prefabricated and deployed in phases, with 200P in the first phase.
Xuanji unifies compute, cooling and energy scheduling.
Integrate local OPC platforms and vouchers to connect supply with demand.
Managed operations and energy optimization reduce local staffing pressure.
